Save and Apply Changes to Source Code
-
As in Opera 12.18 allow users to save changes to the source code of local files, or apply the changes to cached pages for quick and easy testing of web pages.
-
The unbeatable feature of Opera P!

@yes-aravind Apart from email, it is the only other reason I need to use Opera 12.18. I often edit local HTML files.
Nowadays, I do it using Notepad2 as an external source editor, but if we had this, then the Vivaldi source code editor could be used.

@pesala I'm sticking with Notepad++. Eagerly waiting for this feature
-
Well, my favorite is UltraEdit but that doesn't change that this feature would be really nice.

@pesala This seems to be a great idea! I upvoted it!

Some helpful things this feature brings in:
You can just test any code/script on any website - you don't need to open a new file on your HDD just for testing a code or something. You have got the notes on your side panel handy, making things even easier.Other nice feature:
Back then - keeping OperaP as your default browser, opening the html file from the FTP client, opens it in the browser. After making the necessary changes, it lets you view the change by using the apply changes option. Saving it makes the change on your server. Pretty handy right?Bonus:
On the phone and got to note something really quick?
"Ctrl+U", "Ctrl+A"and take note
This could be something for rough work and you don't need to open a new note and delete it later. Go-green, don't simply waste the sticky notes for some scribbling.
There are several other reasons to stick to this edit page source -
I really like the idea of applying changes to cache maybe with an option to save as or something. I don't always want to save to the files I'm working on in Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, especially if I am just fiddling with the CSS or something.

I thought I read that this feature had been incorporated into a recent version of Vivaldi. It is available?
