Simple Markdown Editor for Notes

Very interesting
-
Mod Edit: Threads merged so screenshots removed.
- is this #v2 toolbar to the editor worked upon?
if not please please add it.
markdown is too confusing , maybe it is good for techies and keyboard addicts, but too complicated for the rest of us.
having icons and wysiwyg is what the rest of us need, together with the known keyboard shortcuts like ctrl+b for bold and ctrl+u for underline etc.
- another improvement would be inline image placement (for example of screenshot snipets), instead of adding all images as thumbnails below the note

any progress on this?
-
@peefy The thread is neither tagged as "Pipeline" nor "In Progress", so I would assume that it's currently not being worked on.

@Komposten
thanks for your comment
can this thread be tagged as feature request please? -
It is in the Feature requests forum, it doesn't need a tag for that. It might help if people say whether they'd prefer #2 or #3, though.

@sgunhouse
Thanks for your comment!
I would prefer the version with the full toolbar visible -
Actually I prefer both - the first version if the Notes panel is wide enough, and switching to the second version if the width of the panel is too small for the first one
-
yes, I agree
-
I really like this idea and I started making a mod for vivaldi based on it here.
Hope vivaldi team will do it in the future -
great mod! can you insert inline images too?

As long as the note itself remains pure text. One big benefit of these is that they're easily copied or pasted wherever you need them. I wasn't aware you could already have the notes viewer parse markdown, that's pretty cool, and especially cool that it's a toggle that defaults to off.
