Sometimes I'd like to have 4 totally separated Vivaldi instances for accessing 4 different accounts via webmail interface.
Currently it is not possible

I am a heavy user of Firefox because of this particular Multi-Account Container addon which works beautifully since the Test Pilot program. I have four Google accounts and it helps simulate multi-identity on the web. I can understand that it is not a very popular feature to request but I have hope ^^
I am really interested in Vivaldi since 1.10 I think as it has a lot of features and tweaks that help me shape my browser to my needs, I really enjoy this experience. I'm currently waiting for two things before switching to Vivaldi entirely:
- Sync, currently in test on snapshot if I understood correctly but will be released soon I guess
- Multi-Account Container or an equivalent solution
Well, whether the feature will be finally implemented or not, I'll continue to follow your work and I'm sure Vivaldi won't stop growing better and better, keep up the good work guys!

I said this in my duplicate but to add onto this, since this is the OP one; different stack tab colours per tab with a container assigned to it, and a single-tab stack for when a container is specified to display which container a tab is in, with all pages inside the stack belonging to the same container.
This would provide the opportunity for stacks to be used like their own containers, and if at all possible figure out how to display which container is specified for a tab in the window list.

a request for a very similar feature. At least it looks like it is a similar feature.The main thing, as far as my request goes, is essentially to have X number of separate session at the same time.
Since I last posted, I remembered the name of the only browser offering this feature: Ghost Browser.

I forgot to mention that in many cases, when I build these intra/extranet I have users at the client's side of things that also need a way to test the site in the same manner. I have had some pushback when I suggested downloading Chromium, Canary, Vivaldi and other browsers in order to test different user areas concurrently and compare the UI (but I did get some users to switch to Vivaldi by including it in the testing guidelines. It is the best of the bunch).AFAIK most solutions using different profiles do not work concurrently unless launched with sandboxie or similar. At that point, using separate browsers is a better and quicker solution. I used Chrome, Chromium, Canary and Vivaldi when I needed to test a website with 3 distinct User Groups + an Admin account.
Who needs it?
A good, minimalist example would be a Wordpress administrator wanting to test a website where she is logged in as an administrator in one tab, but either NOT logged in at all, or logged as a separate user in the front end in order to see what a visitor will see. This can be done by using a Private Window.
As most of us know, once I am logged in a Wordpress backend, any front end window I open displays an administrator toolbar at the top. Effectively, I am logged into the wordpress front end as well. If I log off the font end, I get logged off of the back end as well.I hope I haven't added to the confusion, but considering the pricing of Ghost Browser, if Vivaldi could implement something along these lines, even with a reasonable cut-off number of sessions (let's say 6 to 10, I don't see who would need more than 10 concurrent browser sessions. Just the management of the different logins would be a nightmare) and provide it for free or, better yet from Vivaldi POV, a reasonable annual fee that's cheaper than Netflix, there are developers like myself that would find the feature worthwhile.
Add a custom theme to each session and it would be the perfect sandbox for the type of websites I often build.Sorry for the rambling post. I hope I was able to get my point across.
