Hi there.
Is there any internal movement regarding this feature?
It would be an immense improvement of user experience of the "Search with..." menu, which is quite a cornerstone feature. Having how there are extension icons in the context menu, it seems possible. Also, relates to this issue.

@tlk No. If there is any change the thread will be tagged as IN PROGRESS.
-
@Pesala Thanks for the info! That was fast
-
@tlk Currently no progress I can see from the tracker - but the devs are aware of this (VB-27191).

@LonM Thank you! Having an internal issue is certainly promising.

@ROTFL Even if they're alphabetical, an icon can be a better visual cue.

After 3 years still no icons in the search menu, pretty disappointing.

@wudini The Vivaldi team is quite small (53 people approximately) and the theme at the bottom says "In Progress", so sooner or later it will be added by the developers. It pays to be patient with Vivaldi.

@stardepp I wasn't using Vivaldi for at least two years. The last thing i remember about this topic was a comment on the vivaldi blog page from a vivaldi team member wich said "im using a internal build wich has this feature already" or something like that. That's why im disappointed.

In the latest snapshot, search engine icons are now shown in the menu. Some custom searches may have no icons, but this request is available now, and will no doubt be DONE in the next stable release in a few more weeks.
