Button for hiding addon buttons not visible (1.14.1072.3)
-
If there are many addons installed - like I have - then the toggle button to hide and show the addon icons/buttons is no longer visible. And furthermore not all icons/button visible because they are placed where there is no toolbar anymore, meaning to the right of the Vivaldi border.
Therefore I think it is really time to add the possibility to create own tab bars that can be placed on top, button, left or right.

It's true, Vivaldi needs to find a native solution for users who have many extensions installed. In the meantime you can try this:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/20373/improved-extension-toggle
It won't serve the purpose you are looking for, the mod needs to be adjusted to allow switching between 2 different sets of extension icons, but then it should solve your current problem. If there is interest from your side, I will look into it. -
@reiner-block I see no button to hide extension buttons, not even with one extension. Right-click on the button to hide it.

@pesala At the tool bar on the outer right are a button with three points. This is where to toggle the toolbar.
-
@pesala You may need to enable it under Tools/Settings/Address Bar - Extensions Toggle
-
@tbgbe Because it's visible when I deaktivate enough add-ons the mentioned option is activated.
