Standard multi-touch gestures
-
I know this has been discussed multiple times, but I haven't found an official explanation why it's not working like the other browsers do. What I'm talking about is multi-touch gestures that is built-in in Windows 10, for example, move forward and back in history. All other browsers I have support 4-finger gesture left or right to do the above function. Can someone explain this to me?

@jake404 Vivaldi is a custom-written UI, It does not use native elements to operate, and that is how it gets its flexibility and development speed. All UI-negotiated interactions have to be written by the team, and they are not all ironed out, yet.

I just came across this thread and have the same problem.
Would appreciate if Vivaldi, like other browsers, including Chrome, would support multitouch gestures on the touchpad for back and forth through the history.

I think we're talking about different things here. I want to have an absolute standard function of Chrome in Vivaldi as well. Just the possibility of using a notebook on the touchpad (not the screen) with two fingers to move back and forth quickly and comfortably through the process.
