Has anyone actually managed to build 1.13.1008 from source?
-
And if so, is there any documentation (especially troubleshooting) for the procedure?
Trying with vivaldi-source_1.13.1008.tar.xz, and not getting very far:

@0001 You're not supposed to be able to build it. The full architecture of the UI and how it marries up to the engine is not in the public domain

I think maybe that should be made more clear.
I have problems where Vivaldi won't run on my machine (that could easily be fixed by a compile flag), and have been trying to figure out a workaround for over a year.

@0001 We have some Linux masters here. What is your OS?

I am essentially running Gentoo.
The problem is very well described here:
And yes, I have filed a bug about it (well over a year ago).

HALLELUJAH! Been waiting for a gconf-free version of Vivaldi for two years.
The instant a 65 based snapshot is available, I will download it and switch to it. I am actually still using Opera 12.
Thank you.
