Change in how Vivaldi presents itself? (Linux 1.14.1072.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit)
-
I use Vivaldi (snapshot) every day to connect to my PC at work, using GoToMyPC. Since GoToMyPC only supports Mac and Windows PC, I use an extension called 'User Agent Switcher', by author Google, and I set it to identify as IE10. This has worked across many Vivaldi versions, both release and snapshot for a long time. It appears yesterday's Linux snapshot (1.14.1072.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit) may have broken this as I now get this error from GoToMyPC:
Connection Disallowed: Unable to Connect Sorry, this machine's operating system is unable to connect to "Office" .Please try again using Windows or Mac OS X. For more help, visit GoToMyPC Customer Support or your GoToMyPC administrator.
I tried Vivaldi's current release (1.13.1008.40 (Stable channel) (64-bit) with this extension and GoToMyPC works perfectly!
I also tried it on Chrome itself, and Chromium - they both also still work.
Did Vivaldi change something about how it presents itself (how it transmits the user agent string) with yesterday's build?
Thank you!
P.S. I am running Linux Mint v18.3

I tried a few different such 'agent-switchers' in this latest snapshot. Same result. Was working in the previous 1.14 snapshots. Just curious (asking in a polite manner - how do you know the extension is broken? Could it be a Chromium 64 issue??
Thanks for your time here!

@gwen-dragon I fear you may be right. Hopefully since Chromium 64 is still beta - it'll get ironed out upstream. Thank you for a workaround (tried it and it works very well!), much appreciated! Have yourself a fine weekend!
