Address bar dropdown and arrow keys
-
This is an issue that's been around for a long time. So you type a search in the address bar, eg.
And you see what you're looking for as the suggestion, so you use the arrow keys to move to it, only
where did it go? Same thing happens if you go the other way.
It's gone again. Move back up to the address bar and it reappears, but you can't get to it. You can click it with the mouse, but since your hands are already on the keyboard that's inconvenient. I can't figure out why this sometimes happens and I can certainly see no reason why it ever should happen.

I am also seeing this behavior with a different search engine if that makes a difference.

@tiggum When you have selected the item in the drop list, whether from Search Wikipedia, Typed, Suggestions, or History, just press the Enter key. The browser will then go to the URL that is currently shown in the URL field.
If you hold shift and press Enter it will open the URL in a new tab.

@pesala That is the problem we can't select the search suggestion items because they disappear when we hit the down or up arrow. Also I didn't mention this on my first post, I am on a Mac. I don't see this behavior on my PC.
