Amazon PrimeVideo not working with Vivaldi, advice on spoofing my browser ID?
-
Amazon PrimeVideo has been upgraded and it now works and supports IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera, I though it would also work with Vivaldi given that nearly everything that works with Chrome, works in Vivaldi, but this is not the case.
I suspect this is Amazon´s fault blocking any browser not found in the list of supported browsers even if it works, I have not found any work around yet, perhaps somebody has a way to spoof the browser ID so that PrimeVideo believes I am on Chrome or Firefox when I visit?

@witchtech Pick your poison:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/user agent switcher?hl=enOr just open developer tools, and in the network conditions tab is a checkbox for the user-agent. You will likely have to try multiple ones until you find one that works.

I installed User Agent Switcher, I spoofed various browsers and in all cases I get this message below, I believe it is wrong because PrimeVideo works fine in Firefox without asking me to install Silverlight or anything.
I find it surprising that the real Firefox works but the spoofed Firefox does not. Perhaps is the way Silverlight interacts with Vivaldi, I don´t know...

@gwen-dragon Not working, at least not for me with Vivaldi 1.14.1047.3 - Linux. User agent switcher works, but i think Amazon is doing something else, really no idea. I have the same problem as it has been described by @witchtech
