prevent color changing that "matches" websites and disable "remember typed form history"
-
hi!
im wondering if theres a way to prevent the web browser changing its color every new site i open. ive set a nice theme, i want what ive set to be the colors. not some weird bright yellow or any other weird color based on some misconfiguration some site may have.
also, i find it useful to autocomplete web adress, some times the search form, but every field in a page containing whatever somebody typed, this i dont like. is there a way to disable form history?

https://help.vivaldi.com/article/browser-themes/
See the setting for "accent color from active page"? Untick it. -
oh.... good! thanks! now all that i need is to disable form history
-
try
chrome://settings/autofill
Autofill settings , set to off.
Not tried myself, I like the feature and keep it. I can always delete the entries i don't need with shift-del -
nothing happened. theres no "autofill" in vivaldis settings

@xdiegox I told
chrome://settings/autofill
not vivaldi settings, it's the chromium internal settings page, just copy paste it in url field -
@xdiegox the proper address is chrome://settings/autofill?search=autofill
When you input that address in the addressbar, it takes you to the underlying chromium layer but, in the process, it also changes the visual in the addressbar to "vivaldi://..."

thanks, bro! it worked!
@ian-coog
you wrote "vivaldi" instead of "chrome". but, thanks! you were also right. -
Ok, initially I have pasted the address with vivaldi:// but fixed it in less than 10 seconds with chrome://
apparently the forum takes some time to make the changes visible to others.
