Youtube video error

Hello, I really hope someone can help. I downloaded the Vivaldi browser just today and so far really like it, but I found one "bug" when I tried watching a video I didn't finish on Youtube. I went to my history and clicked on the video everything loaded up fine and I watched a few second ad but then after the ad finished, the video didn't play and a common Youtube error message came up. I tried restarting the browser as well as restarting my MacBook, nothing worked. I checked to see if it was a problem I was having on just this browser or if it was also happening on Google Chrome and Safari, and it only happens when I try on Vivaldi. I also that it might be something that was wrong with the video, so I tested my theory and I was right, it is not just this one video but every video that I tested.
Edit: The error usually occurs in videos that are 50 minutes or longer, though not all. I tried 5 videos and two of them failed, those videos that failed were of video game gameplay by two different Youtubers.
Thanks for your help!

Don't bother Holden, the Vivaldi team is very well aware of the (mac) video playback problems and behind the scenes they are working very hard to solve the issues involving video playback. At least that is what they tell us. Unfortunately for a lot of Mac users this issue has now become part of a much bigger project, too big for our little heads to comprehend. When and if they are going to finish this massive project they can and will not say. In the meantime they will advice you (and everybody else) to fiddle around with the more hidden video en graphic cards setting. Of course that is not going to help you ... at least you have the idea you are really trying.
After all this fiddling around they will tell you it is a chromium problem, they can't change that. Funny because all the other chromium browsers do play that video Vivaldi refuses to play ...
I have to solutions for you, what would an answer be without a solution, right?
- Buy a new mac, then you have a graphics card that will play all the vids you want
- Or try my method, download FireFox and forget about Vivaldi
@holden-larsen Would it be possible to post the URLs of the videos that fail, especially if they fail consistently? If you would prefer not to post these publicly, then please submit them in a bug report.
Also, did these 50+ minute videos fail to play immediately or did playback fail somewhere in the middle of the video?
Thanks very much!
