Vivaldi for Linux ARM, including the Raspberry Pi
-
@imhotepie: And I'm sure I could enjoy a pile of Vivaldi swag too
(My favorite and only browser, by the way. With every update comes new neat surprise. Thank you, guys.) -
Forgot to mention: my current project is to build a portable multi-purpose RasPi machine inside an aluminium case. Display is from a broken laptop. Speakers are old USB speakers inside a custom wooden frame (already done). Case has enough room to carry some RasPis, a breadboard, controllers for retro gaming, a keyboard and all the little stuff i need for any possible project...

@ruario Do You have plans to publish somewhere Snapshot releases for ARM?...

German carnival season is coming. My costume plan is to stack my ghostbuster suit with a proton pack. The Pi can take control over light and sound effects.
-
Wow, beautiful work.

I would use my Raspberry Pi to create a multi-media computer, which would include emulators of old game systems, a music and movie library, and integrated Google Assistant and Alexa for voice commands. I would hook it up to a DAC, Surround Speakers, and my Monitor.

I've been planning on setting up a personal VPN server at some point, and also eventually a media PC (although I don't even have a TV so I suppose that'd need to come first XD ). So one of those would probably be my next project.
I have also been thinking of setting up some bluetooth connectivity for my car so I can play music and stuff from my phone. Although I suppose with a Pi I could just store the music directly on it. And maybe rig up a remote starter while I'm at it for these cold Canadian winters.

Hello.
Nice post!
As for me, I'd like to start from RetroPi project and for a few years later - to do a mini computer for my son. He is 3 years old now and he is crazy about robots. -
I would like to build an web site on virtual machine inside the Raspberry Pi (if the performance is enough to do this), or purely on the Pi. i'd like to share something about knowledge of linux , software and music...etc.
-
I'd run Pi-Hole to block all the nasties we have on the web nowadays. Those stickers look attractive.
-
It's very simple.
In plans to make a tablet on the rpi3 with a touch screen and battery power and an integrated LTE modem. -
I have some NRF24L01 2.4GHz modules. I want to connect up some of them to my lights and to my postbox with the rPI as host. Whenever sth is thrown in there, I want the lights to flash! Later it should grow to a nice mesh network controllable by the rPI via FUSE.
Mesh and light flashing is already working, looking forward to some free hours in the christmas time! -
Well, I already use one as a media server. I guess I would set up another one as a retro gaming console.
-
Next Pi project: A combination RetroPi gaming console (making use of my old Ouya controllers) and multi-node cluster inspired by LLNL's (https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects/build-an-octapi).
-
@rotfl: Sure, in fact the last snapshot was actually uploaded for ARM (you just need to work out the URL). Shh… don't tell anyone!
-
Great! Thanks for your work.
So I want to transform my Raspberry Pi into home dashboard. It will displays real-time information about weather, my calendar, todo list and last news. I want to create application and connect touchscreen to Pi. I hope it will be useful for me. -
Perfect! My RasPi? Converting old-ish TV into smart-tv... our TV cost me lots of hed aches, with its unability to read subtitels, play some of .mkv files and many other reasons. RasPi connected to it would allow me to play all media without problem and if mouse and keyboard connected to it, even brows internet on that TV.

Awesome ! Congratulations for tackling this challenge. Viv will be on my Picoscope Raspberry ASAP ! And then on it’s own if I’m lucky, displaying datasheets all day long !

As a parttime beekeeper I'm about to build a monitoring tool, to see what's up with my beloved little fuzzy buzzing bees for example in winter. Camera, sensors, a microphone... I want to know everything about my sweeties, to unterstand them better and to fondle them even in some distance. Thanks for BEEing with me.
