Vivaldi froze my PC
-
I have completely removed Vivaldi, hoping a solution will come up for my problem. Windows 10, only a few conventional extensions.
After the most recent update my bookmarks toolbat disappeared. I clicked on 'show toolbar' mand instead of what I expected I found the contents of one of my bookmarks toolbar folders displayed.
Trying to remove the toolbar resulted in the whole PC freezing, no mouse working, dead.
I had to eventually turn off at the mains, which my PC didn't like.
Any solutions? -
Version of Vivaldi? (stable or snapshot) If snapshot, was Sync enabled?

Famous last words. What extensions, exactly?
Running on what hardware?
And why didn't you try to refresh your profile?
-
@sgunhouse I had the latest version and had sync enabled.
-
@cooked The questions I asked are still relevant.
You should try with a clean profile. If that doesn't work, then your hardware resources are possibly quite relevant.

I don't know how to 'clean my profile so your answer is meaningless. My hardware is ok.
I reinstalled without sync, no problems now -
Ayespy gave you a link how to clean your profile.
This is the first version with sync so bugs you can expect.
