It's not related to private browsing or Tor, but to user mail privacy Mailpile is out as alpha. It is local mail app opened in browser, that have ability to encrypt mails (pgp...) and to that point I understand it...But apparently, it uses already existing user accounts (Gmail, Yahoo etc) which is strange, cause they said that mails won't be kept anywhere... When was announced, I imagined it as completely new service that will have ability to encrypt mails between users of that service, and now it turns out to be something completely different. Anyone have good/simple explanation how the whole thing works?
