Color scheme changes for different tabs?
I can't figure out why the "theme" seems to change for different tabs.
- Windows XP SP3 (I don't see the "+" icon in Appearaace in Settings - I assume that's because my Vivaldi version is old?)
- I think I may have seen 3 different looks yesterday, but today I see two:
. . . * Blue (active tab and address / search bar)
. . . * Red
edit your theme, "apply accent color", unckeck it
Not sure if this applies to the old version, but look in
Settings, Themes, Edit, and uncheck "Accent colour from active page."
I remember "Themes" from my Win 10 PC (awaiting a new MB), but this version only lists
- "Appearance" with an option for "Interface Color" Light or Dark
- Under that an option to "Use Page Theme Color in User Interface" (I get the different colors with either choice)
Thanks - and I might check out your scripts once I get my real PC operational.
@hobkirk What version of Vivaldi are you using? Interface color light/dark choice in settings/appearance is from a version almost 2 years old. Themes have been around forever.
Windows XP SP3
He must be on the legacy 1.0 version that still works on XP.
I was advised to go down the "download Vivaldi" page to find a version that works with XP. What I have is:
Vivaldi 1.0.435.46 () (32-bit)
Thanks. I didn't realize Vivaldi had moved on so much that my question is a history question!
