Menus no longer working



  • I have a Windows 7 64 bit PC with 32 GB RAM and an i7 processor, and the latest update of Vivaldi was working ok since I installed it but today the pull-down menus are no longer opening, neither with Alt-letter nor mouse-clicks.

    This makes the program quite unusable.

    I tried disabling extensions, restarting my PC, etc. without success.

    And I've customized Vivaldi sufficiently that to uninstall and reinstall it is unacceptable.

    And ideas?

    Backup your profile, do the reset and if it fixes it, reintroduce your old data one file at a time to the new profile. When it breaks you know which file was the problem and that's the one you can't use anymore.



  • Can you tell me the best way to back up my profile?

    Please remember than none of the menu items work.



  • After a bit of testing, I found out that a utility called Kerish Doctor was blocking the menus from working.

    All fixed now.
