- Ctrl+Click on tabs to select multiple tabs
- Ctrl+Shift+Click to select a range of tabs
- Right-click to create a tab-stack from the selected tabs

Ability to mute tabs when no sound is playing on that tab.
Currently, if a chat app has a notification sound which only dings once in a while - I'm unable to mute that because no sound is playing most of the time. It's impossible to "catch" it.
Options that exist currently are prioritize sound (which doesn't work very well) and mute all (which i don't want to mute my music or youtube). Clicking the mute icon in the tab also is hard to get when the sound is sporadic.

Standalone Web Panel
Enable the side web panel to be undocked from the main browser interface and used as a stand alone mini browser with show/hide controls added to the Vivaldi Background Taskbar Icon.
Keep tabs on your social media without having the tabs or for quick access to productivity crib sheets etc.

Syncing Everything: In addition to syncing passwords, bookmarks, speed dials, etc. Being able to sync all the custom thumbnails for the speed dials, custom themes, and the start page wallpapers would be extremely helpful.

The ability to click on "file/share"
There's one major feature missing that EVERY browser (EVERY browser) has that Vivaldi doesn't.
There's no easy way to send a website to someone with Vivaldi unless you copy and paste the link. You should be able to click on "share" and have it automatically bring up an email. If someone else has already requested this, I didn't see it but there way too many posts to look through to find it. Looks like people are inundated Vivaldi with feature requests.

I'd like to see Vivaldi open new tabs in the background by default instead of having to take special steps to get it to do that.
Every other browser on the market either opens in the background by default or has the option in settings.

Hi again, I thought of another request that could prove handy: A secondary zone for extensions, as illustrated below:
-
Include the presentation mode in the "View" menu
This is trivial to implement (I imagine), would make perfect sense, and would have no downside.
It's probably trivial because the feature is already available through a shortcut (which I found it impossible to remember, because I don't use the mode everyday) under the name of "Toggle UI".
The "presentation mode" is different from the "fullscreen mode". (Search Vivaldi forum with "presentation mode".)

Default to selecting the first item in the saved sessions list
Usecase: I use a shortcut (Shift+Ctrl+P) to access the Quick Commands, which I use to then access saved sessions (
Open Saved Sessions
). After doing so, I then need to use my mouse to select the first item, after which point I may as well click theOpen
button. Ideally, I'd like for the entire behavior to be enabled to be keyboard driven, so I'd never have to take my hands off the keyboard to launch a session. Just a matter ofShift+Ctrl+P
, typingOpen Saved Sessions
, and pressingEnter
(or if I have multiple open, using the arrow keys thenEnter
). -
Audio device output selection
For example: ability to send audio from specified tab to Speakers, even if Windows default is set to Headphones.
Especially when gaming, I have game audio and TeamSpeak at headphones, but I would like to listen some music mix from YouTube at speakers.
Never seen ability like that in any other browser, but it could be useful in some cases.
