Update Woes

  • Where is the best place to complain about the last 3 update? I think the 3rd one was supposed to fix what the other 2 broke, but that did not happen.

  • Snaps are not stable and this branch has some issues. But here on win works without problems.

  • I did not know I was installing snapshots. Now that I do, I will be more careful. Thank you for pointing that out.

The 1.13 Stable is near and we are at heavy testing to fix bugs. There are some issues with the Snapshots (acting like all pre-releases/betas).

So please be so kind, test 1.13 Snapshot and report bugs or uninstall the SNapshot, installe the 1.12 Stable and wait until new 1.13 Stable gets released.

If you uninstall any snapshot to re-install a stable release don't forget to save your profile.
    This might help https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/10388/refreshing-or-cleaning-your-profile

  • @para-noid I uninstalled to remove snapshots (yes, I saved profile) and installed the latest stable version at the time. (1.12.955.48) Then 1.13 came out and I saw it was a stable version so I installed it. Now I am back to having the same issue which I know now that it does not start with the last session - even though it is set that way. I also have a specific homepage and it does not even open that. It opens with Vivaldi Start page unless I clicked on a link to open the browser, then that page will open and nothing else. I think I will go back to the stable 1.12 version I had that worked.
