How does the Accent Colour get chosen?
I'm working in a developer team on a site and our Favicon shows in Vivaldi (in the tab bar but not in the Window panel) but the "Accent Colour" doesn't change (it takes the one from the last time).
How exactly does the "Accent Colour" get chosen? And does anyone know why this issue could appear?
I always thought accent color is taken from the favicon. Maybe the old favicon is still in the cache. Try clearing it.
And yeah, favicons in panels can be problematic, here's a guide on how to set them securely and individually:
@luetage Clearing the cache (of all time) didn't help. It still takes the color from the last page. (Also after restarting Vivaldi again)
Also I think you misread: I didn't mean the Web Panel but the Window Panel.
As this seems to be specific. I'll show the code that is in our header:
<head> <title>Our Title</title> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> <meta charset="utf-8"> <meta name="google" value="notranslate"> <link href="path/to/icon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon"> <link href="path/to/icon.ico" rel="icon" type="image/ico"> <!-- CSS Links etc. --> </head>
In the window panel that results to this:
But in the normal tabs I can see the favicon properly (but the accent colour still doesn't change)
