BUG: Freezes / Extremely Slow With Multiple Tabs
-
When many tabs are open, the opened tabs freeze, and many do not even download the webpage.
To test: go to an ebay search result and right click an listing link in the search list and choose to open it in a new Background tab. Do this many times quickly, e.g. 15-30. You will find that after a certain amount the browser becomes very slow/freezes, and with more does not even download the tab content. Open all the tabs then start to switch to them to see if they have loaded, also analyse for sluggishness.

@hot_denim E-bay pages are pretty heavy with ads. Still, I found that the pages all loaded after a reasonable time. I could hear a lot of CPU fan activity while opening the tabs, but it only took about 10 seconds for 20 tabs, which seems reasonable to me. It does not seem like a bug or poor performance issue.

@hot_denim That's what I did. I opened the links in the background with middle-click.
The speed difference is much more likely to do with my Internet Connection than my CPU speed.
My b/b is up to 50Mbps Virgin Media fibre optic cable.
