[Solved] Vivaldi 1.12.955.48 consuming tons of CPU and RAM
Before update 1.12.955.48 which i made today, vivaldi was runnning perfect, but since the update it started consuming waay to much cpu 15 - 20 % (when yesterday it was 8%) with same 7 pages open (the ones i usually use and are always open) and around 1.3GB ram. I don't know if it some kind of bug or is my PC, does anyone know something about it? I don't see any windows service update or something that might make my pc run slow.
Also noticed that youtube videos, after a few seconds of playing it starts to lag out (like low fps) but when i move the mouse starts running smoothly, any suggestion?

start with disabling setting/appereance/use animations
then try vivaldi://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode and disable itReply Quote 0 1 Reply Last reply

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's gone. Down to 2% cpu and 300MB RAM, thank you very much. Had animations off but didn't know about those experimental features on the video card (which i think mine is malfunctioning) I'll check them out, again, thank you
Animation sure needs a lot of CPUs, especially when you watch videos no matter htlm5 or falsh. But animation is much more good look for sure, hahaha. My laptop is old, so I turned it off, my desktop is good, so I turned it on.
I usually do not pay much attention to the RAM condition.
