Vivaldi doesn't support NPAPI plug-ins?
Has this always been the case or is this some sort of bug?
Chromium deprecated NPAPI time ago and vivaldi won't support it.
Any chance, if you need it, is to use Firefox ESR or Internet explorer.
@hadden89 Ok, thanks for the info. So far it hasn't been a problem for me, everything has worked well. This error just made me wonder has something changed recently and will this cause problems but I guess I can just ignore it.
The stop of support NPAPI plugins was announced for Chromium browsers to the public in 2014 and stopped in September 2015.
New plugins for Chromium should support PPAPI. But some 3rd party programmers did not update their plugins to PPAPI.
Note that Mozilla has said they will be switching to PPAPI themselves some time in the future. As far as what happens to Java - ask Java. I think the only plug-in Firefox still supports is Flash.
