Text issue on Blog migration...
-
Hello,
I just notice that the blog migration f**ked up some part of my blog post.
When i isrt publish some code oriented article, i use "pre" tag to split the code from the text. Inside those pre tags, i use \n character to keep the formating coherant.
Now, all the \n present in pre tag are gone, so all the code lines are now on one line, which is really unreadable !
Do i have another choice expect fixing it myself ?

Example of issue:

User blogs haven't been officially released yet. I'd wait for that to happen and then see what works and what doesn't

From my point of view, user blogs were publicly available before the migration, so i don't understand why you say it's not officially released yet.
If this is the case (not yet released), developpers should fix formatting issue like this one before the official release. It's clearly a no-go/stop-show if all people who have already wrote something have to check all their posts to fix them manually !

@pseudo555
The \n in pre elements got lost while importing from the old system. Probably the users need to re-format those. -
@gwen-dragon
You're probably right, but nonetheless, the characters are gone and doing just this modification is not enought to fix the reported issue. -
