How to safely start browser
A coworker inadvertantly placed a tool on my keyboard resulting in several dozens of tabs being opened to the point that Vivaldi froze by the time I noticed. Whenever I try restarting Vivaldi, it starts up non-responsively. Is there a way for me to safely start Vivaldi back up?
And if there is, may I suggest an option to cause it to trigger on startup if Vivaldi did not shut down properly? Or some other newb friendly solution?
Visit your Vivaldi profile, rename/move "Last Session" file.
in "%localappdata%\Vivaldi\User Data\Default" there's "Last Tabs" and "Last Session", try renaming them to *.bak then run Vivaldi.
@ian-coog Appreciate you leading me down the correct direction. Those files alone were not sufficient to correct my issue, but I instead backed up the entire folder, and then booted up that way, and piecemeal restored the pieces I actually cared about.
