[Request] Please Add Support for App Nap

  • Okay, so I've been giving Vivaldi a spin on Yosemite, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised by its generally low resource usage (memory use is around 60% of Safari in my tests). However, I noticed that Vivaldi doesn't appear to support App Nap, which appears to be leading to high CPU use/energy impact when a lot of tabs are open. Since I'm a tab hoarder, this a big deal for me :) I don't know what kind of resource limiting Vivaldi does, but App Nap is actually a fairly easy feature to implement for Mavericks/Yosemite, and makes a big difference to Safari's energy impact, so it'd be nice to see it added at some point. Anyway, keep up the great work! I was expecting a bloated mess (as that seems to be what "power user" means more often than not), but Vivaldi is actually clean and very usable, it even seems more responsive than Safari most of the time, so yeah, I'm impressed so far!
