Hello everyone.
I have this problem with extensions popup windows, and I hope that there are more people who think the same.
When I click some extension button, like for example "Gismeteo", "Google Map Add-On" or "Translator" it's window pops up. When I want to close it thou, I have to click somewere beside the window. It's really annoying when you have to look for a place to click instead of just hitting Escape.
Pease consider this. The old Opera 12 could do it, so why not Vivaldi.Thank you.

Passive scrolling for Linux
For this moment, there is only one plug-in for it, and it doesn't work properly (can't scroll some sites and the browser pages like Reader Mode). There is no good passive scrolling realisation for Linux in Vivaldi.

Resizing for tiled tabs' frames
Without it, tabs tiling far less useful, unfortunately. -
Replace bookmarks icon to a star, as it was in Opera
It's not just an oldfag's nostalgia, it's really more intuitive. When I see a bookmark icon I always need some time to understant it means "oh, right, my bookmarks". The icon is not bad for itself, the drawing is appropriate, it reminds real bookmark, but it's just not intuitive.

UI for Page Filters management
Ability to disable (hide) some page filters/effects from the list and to add custom css/js effects to the list with the browser UI.
-
ability to filter out specific filetypes such as images in the download panel so that they don't appear there
making the file types you want to follow or find quickly such as compressed archives, executables, videos and such easier to find. perhaps as an option on the panel, such as "enable filter" to make the undesirable files be hidden, with the types settable in settings window.useful if you tend to save lots of images, making the important downloads vanish in the clutter.

Able to STOP video playing + abort buffering when video is playing/loading
We can stop everything inside webpage from loading, EXCEPT the video & audio!
PAUSE & MUTE function are nice, but we need STOP function to abort the buffering/loading. It's been about a decade we stopping video & audio by reload the entire webpage or close the tab, this is just overkill, don't you think?
HTML5 currently doesn't support stop(), but do we really have to wait for HTML6/7 to be able to abort video & audio from buffering? I hope not.

I would request settings to clean various things when I close the Browser.
A Options menu with checkbockses to set this up would be nice.
Like cache, cookies, history etc. how i need it.Also I would need an option to set Vivaldi to keep certain websites cookies while everything besides my choosen sites get vanished

Detach video from a webpage
I think it would be great to add an option to detach a video from a webpage and dock it just on the Desktop.
-
Folding History in the side bar by time and website
or (optionally) by time only, as it is now, or only by site (such an option was in Opera 10, right in the side bar) -
Option to turn on automatic delete of all the duplicates of chat-like continuosly updating pages from history.

Smart tiling layout
the idea is about going away from several standard layouts.
for example I am watching a video, reading and do smth else, I tile three pages.
browser can autodetect an embedded video - so he knows exactly how much space it will take on my screen by default, it will show me the video
it also can detect that i have turn on reading mode on the second page - so it will give it wide enough subwindow on the bottom
and all the space left - for the third webpage -
add Unfolding stacking tabs
like in Opera 11 - might be an option in settings.
Tabs unfold in tabs pannel, but not ungroupped, so that you can work on something, unfold tabs in one group to see all of them at a time, then you change task and fold this group, unfold other... -
