General Feedback

Hi First of all, I have to appreciate Vivaldi team`s efforts for creating such a wonderful web Browser . I created this post to simply give you my feedback as a user and I will add to it as we move forward. -For a experimental browser, my overall experience is good and I like the interface. - Automatic deletion of history upon closing the application -Native POP UP blocker ( I have seen it only on IE, for FireFox and Chrome we need to install add on ) -Browser Factory Reset button to recover it to original situation ( This works specially in a case of virus issue and I have only seen it upon lunching FireFox website from its browser ) - I did not see an add on page to show application such as Java, Silverlight , Flash Player and ... ( All web browsers support such feature ) - I understand that Vivaldi Theme color is orange but it would be nice to give user the ability to change color ( I personally like it the way it is ) -I do not like the setting GUI page and I think it does need a better organization to reduce the scrolling . As an example you can create tabs . -I think that address bar is way long and search bar is too small so a little adjustment will make it better. -When minimizing the Browser Window in Windows 8.1, there is a lag and it does not finish smoothly. The same strange lag exist while choosing the left side menus. -It will be nice to support " Save AS PDF " in the browser.

Some comments:
There is a content blocker, but not a pop-up blocker just yet.
There is a plugin page under "tools"
The theme colors can be turned off. Just yet, they cannot be changed.
The Settings GUI page does have categories (like tabs, but vertical) to reduce scrolling. Only if you select "Display all" do you have to scroll much.
You can grab the divider between address bar and search bar and change their relative sizes. You can also turn off the search bar.
"Save as PDF" is supported. It's part of the "print" dialog under the File menu. -
Ayespy and helsten2 Thank you for quick reply
-Regarding the search bar ,that was too easy "I feel dumb now!!" lol
-Found the plugin page and everything looks fine- Found the "Save as PDF" under print
-I saw the setting structure but I do not like it. Maybe its only a personal preference but I think the structures used in IE and Fire Fox is more organized and there is no need to scroll at all . Basically options divided into menus and sub menus .
For example in navigation, search engine setting can be inside its own sub menu and keyboard short cut can have a separate sub menu.Looking forward to see more features .
This is the first time that I am using Vivaldi browser, I will continue to post as we move forward. -
I am using the latest version of the software as I downloaded it about 2 hours ago.
Comment on Search box and Address bar size
-I made various tabs with small search box and big address bar, then I adjusted the size manually and made the search bar bigger however, the search bar size did not change in the older tabs that I created and those tabs remained small. New tabs were created with the new adjustment. It is not a big deal, but I would expect the new setting to update all tabs . -
Hi
While using my Gmail account, I noticed that whan writing an Email, the keyboard is keep stopping and lose its connection.
Then I have to mouse click multiple times to bring it back to focus and start writing again. I also noticed couple of time that it automatically changed tab while using Gmail. I have to note that such issue does not exist outside Gmail which makes me wonder if Vivaldi has a little incompatibility with Java plugin . As you know Gmail is using Java and that may require a little debugging. -
