Vivaldi can't handle right with any Audio and Video Streaming until now

  • Even if I try to configure everything that is type of tools, call a network technician to check if there is something wrong with my network, signal, ping, download, upload and etc, everything is working correctly! Even my computer that is configured properly is not interfering with Vivaldi! And even then, only in it and only in it do you encounter problems with any and all type of streaming running on both the side flap and an open tab!

So please help me try to reproduce this mess, please? I would like to see if it only happens to me!
First, using another browser like Firefox or your favorite browser, use it with some kind of streaming media, be it audio or video, and along with that open the developer console and check if some content display errors are displayed ! Leave it for a few minutes and then quit firefox or your favorite browser!

Now do the same with Vivaldi! Even with all the installer features correctly, at least for me, the difference of errors in the console being displayed is huge! I'll give you an example!

Tests on two online radios with low-bandwidth streaming rates using Vivaldi in constant streaming: hunter.fm and mgtradio.net

Tests on same online radios with low-bandwidth streaming rates using Firefox in constant streaming:

Result: both radios showed constant gaps in the Vivaldi browser in 10 minutes of running audio online, whereas in the firefox browser the same did not occur in more than 10 minutes of running audio online.

Doing the same audio and video streaming tests on two social networks I use, Facebook and Vk, the tests returned the same errors and gaps when accessed through Vivaldi, but when accessed by Firefox, virtually no error message was displayed on the console!

Here is how my internet was at the time of the tests:

I really believe developers should look at this side of the base structure of this browser! because I've noticed differences that for many can be glaring compared to current browsers, especially for streamers or gamers like me!

I still hope that the problem of dropping frames with audio and video in tabs will be solved too! And that's it!

  • I can reprodeuce it. Report this with some URLs of your radio streams which you was listening.
