Bing search engine is a must
-
Hello all. I just discovered Vivaldi and decided to kick the tires a bit. So as I was going through its settings, I did not find Bing among the search engines in Vivaldi. I don't know if that is by design or not but I use Bing primarily when I do search. Please make Bing an option. Thanks in advance

well, you always can add it yourself and to be honest Bing is not usable in Europe because of a really bad indexing AFAIK (at least in Czech republic).
So I think that we will see Bing only if Bing pay to Vivaldi to be there.

Bad indexing? Is that an official decision or your opinion? Moreover, Google could be added as well couldn't it? But yet it is selectable as is Ebay, Amazon and a few others.

There is no official language support for our country (including proper indexing) and it's also an official statement. Another official statement is that they will work on it. It's known by Microsoft but Europe and small states there are not (probably - this is what I'm guessing now) a priority. -

Good luck just the same.
Uninstalling.

I'm not getting what you mean but…
- I was only speaking about bad indexing of Bing (the searcher) in Europe (=> not directly related to any browser) I was reacting to this.
- I gave you a solution: add bing yourself before it will (or will not) be added to the official prediction of default search engines.

What an attitude! Look at this:
Thanks for the suggestions but… yes the page zoom can help but, it's only going to help with the web page content not menu's tabs, etc. The problems I have usually aren't with the web page content. That's usually larger and easy to change. But all the navigation, settings etc remain with the default settings. Actually, since the old Opera died, I'm not sure there are any browsers that allow these kind of tweaks. I suspect that developers are usually young people with good vision and no tremors. I understand and accept that I'm just asking for some reasonable accommodation. This isn't a deal-breaker, I'm still down with Vivaldi. Thanks for trying to help.
This poster has a physical disability which makes using Vivaldi in its current form difficult, and he still has a better, more upbeat attitude about it than you, who is uninstalling now because Bing isn't the default search engine.

No problem. Be well.

No loss here. Just gain.
As long as you are fine with it having a limitation in its reach, I could never approach this browser with any degree of seriousness. Are you one of the developers of Vivaldi may I ask?
