Ctrl+B shortcut conflicts with Font-Bold Key for builtin text editors
The shortkeys Ctrl+B,Ctrl+U, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+I, Ctrl+C Should be reserved for text editing, unless they are deactivated while a text input activity takes place.
If you're editing a text (i.e. like you do in the forum and press CTRL+B)
Expected: The text selected should become Bold.
The text selected becomes bold AND a new tab opens a page "Bookmark manager"
@dinoraptor It's a well-known issue. Assign other shortcuts such as Ctrl+Shift+B to open the bookmarks tab if you need it, or just delete the shortcut in Settings, Keyboard.
Yes, well known and reported as a browser problem (not a forum problem)
@dinoraptor As this is a browser issue and not a forum issue, I'm moving it over to Vivaldi Browser/All Platforms.
Thank you so much for quick action! I'm still learning my way around the forum
Fixes for such issue are in progress. Please check changelog of upcoming Snapshots if such bug is fixed.
