With every upgrade I notice Vivaldi getting worse. Why

Vivaldi it's relatively new and work in progress. The improvements comes with the help of the community, reporting bugs and suggesting features, like any software project out there.

With the little information you gave in your post, neither I nor the developers can give you solutions to try to solve the problems you find in vivaldi, my friend!
Do the following. If you find any issues that are bothering you, please send some bug reports to them! And always remember, that Vivaldi is a novice browser! There is still much to do in it! Let's have a little patience with him?

Can you be specific as to what setbacks you are experiencing? Perhaps it's something to do with your setup.

Generally speaking, Vivaldi is becoming more and more polished, its performance is great and keeps getting better, and the Vivaldi team are innovating and differentiating themselves with new features that "the other guys" are now starting to copy.
