Request permission for notifications blocks page
Yakoot last edited by Gwen-Dragon
For example: I fill out the field on the page, a query appears, blocks further filling. It's very annoying.

Could you provide a link to a website where this is a problem?
In addition it would be good to know a bit about your setup:
1.) What system do you use?
2.) What vivaldi version do you use? (you can look this up in the first line at
3.) What extensions do you use?
EDIT: ehrm yes ... my brain still seems to be in vacation mode... do as leutage said

@Yakoot You could just set the permission for the page to block or allow instead of ask, then no pop up appears. Do this by clicking the leftmost icon on the adressfield.
try open page, then type something in field or in console(most easiest way to see focus problems)
And i saw new problem - I cant change url in address bar with opened request window
- arch linux
- 1.11.917.39 (Stable channel) (64 бит)
- adblock plus
Hit Esc when the permission popup comes up or deny Notifications.
@Gwen-Dragon when i'm trying to write something in address bar - Esc not closing request window.
OK, another example: my touch typing is very bad (or other reasons), so I need to look at the keyboard when typing. I type a large search query in the address bar and do not see what is happening on the monitor. It is very unpleasant when you look at the result, and only a few letters are printed, after which a request appeared and blocked further typing
You can block globally all notification requests.
Scroll down to Nitifications
If you need a notification on a page, you can set it by hitting the globe/lock in adress field. Or add a excpetion at
@Gwen-Dragon thank you
@Yakoot How do you handle notifications now? Block Global and Allow with exception?
@Gwen-Dragon Block global.
I need notifications from only one site, I allowed it earlier
@Yakoot Good solution.
