How to install flash for Vivaldi browser?
Have tried to get help at Vivaldi forum for this but the possible solutions don't work.
Anyone here have an idea on how to install flash player for Vivaldi browser?
Have you tried visiting https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?
That seems to automatically detect vivaldi and offer you an installer to download and run.
(But make sure to first un-tick the boxes offering free stuff, that's shady business on adobe's part).
Watch this video it will help you
@hasanrworld The3 method shown in the video (using Firefox) will NOT download flash for Opera as the title implies. It will only work for Firefox on Windows (32 bit).
You should have (at least) shown using the options for other O.S. and other Browsers to produce a proper instructional video.
@hasanrworld I know that.
But you titled your Video for (FireFox or Opera) then used Firefox.
Thus it does NOT show how to install for Opera!
Why include a browser name at all in the Title?
We have had many users saying that they have Flash installed in Firefox and not understanding WHY it doesn't also work in Vivaldi.
Your video also doesn't offer any answer to the question from @thomas9059
Vivaldi has a help page.
F1 → Third Party & Extensions → Extensions → Install Flash Player for Vivaldi
This opens https://help.vivaldi.com/article/install-flash-player-for-vivaldi/
please see here easy the easy way to get flash no bloat
look at the following section (scroll down ) to:
"If you are still having trouble installing Adobe Flash Player, try downloading the installer directly from the following sites:
Flash Player for Internet Explorer - ActiveX
Flash Player for Firefox - NPAPI
Flash Player for Opera and Chromium-based browsers - PPAPI"
adobe hides this article pretty well note even though it says windows 7 and earlier it applies to all versions of windows
download from there
in fact i believe my solution should replace the current method listed in the help section as this is the best method but not may people know about the direct links
