Site-Based search settings
While it is nice that Command + F pulls up the Vivaldi search, when using web-based productivity based tools, such as Google Sheets, the Vivaldi search does not find searched items. Instead, I need to cancel the Vivaldi search, click in the triggered Google Sheets Search, then perform the search I would like.

Session manager (save open tabs)
Tabs from last session can sometimes be lost, for example when you restart a Mac computer without closing Vivaldi first (https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/14136/all-tabs-lost-after-computer-restart/17).
It would be very helpful to have a simple session manager that saves the last few sessions session, possibly remembering the tabs configurations (groupings, pinned etc), so it's always possible to retrieve the tabs that were opened. This should be more reliable than the trash icon, since the trash icon doesn't always guarantee that you'll be able to retrieve a session (especially int he scenario where multiple computer restarts are executed in a row). Thanks

Tab favicon position: By default is on left; option to place on right.

@Regnas This was the hardest thing to get used to after switching and I still sometimes do this and wonder why it isnt working.
I can't live without it...

You still seem to be living or is that a relative posting from your account after your death?

It means I'm not using vivaldi yet...

Optional Speed Dial button for the address bar
Please add the option for a button in the address bar, that takes you directly to your first/main Speed Dial in the current tab. Opening a new tab and closing the old one is cumbersome for this.Like so:
And so:
This has been requested a long time ago.
Having Start Page as homepage and using the home button will return you to your most recently selected Speed Dial folder, which is not the desired behaviour. Besides, this prevents having a separate specific homepage.
-
@Cracken Your suggestion is actually quite different. I don't need to have so many tabs open at once, I am already using the OneTab extension when it gets too crowded. I just don't want to loose data.
-
@sceptichere Already in progress.
-
Themes sorting (previews should act as the speed dial); first row is only for default themes, other for user themes.
-
@Marko-Indaco hello, I make some edit and add it to my previous post, for better understand what i mean about it.
-
@Zhails the old Opera had a Search Bar, no?
-
When you save a bookmark, you can press "ENTER" to do a text with paragraphs on "description" field. I would like to do the same on Bookmark Panel, but currently I can't do it nether with SHIFT + ENTER.
-
@elegos dragable borders would be nice indeed for the tab tiling feature
-
@Pesala Just to clarify our intentions, I linked my duplicity post with self explaing pict. 3rd option additional to pict. would be "manual" with option to drag n drop search engines in desired order.
@mattea said in Feature requests for 1.12:
Ability to sort search engines either by Description and Nickname. With list of 30+ engines, list is mess and it becomes hard to find the right one to edit it when necessary, or to check whats the nickname of page you are looking for... -
@Pesala And, this should exclude hyperlinked images.
-
For people using the bookmarks bar with several folders:
An option to set custom favicon for pages that don't have a favicon. At least for the sake of the look, as it looks a bit boring to see a list of folded papers. -
@Pesala 100% support Missing it badly.
-
An option like Opera's Video pop out would be nice.

@Ayespy ...testing this feature is going on since ???, can you give us a rough estimate on when we users can coöperate in testing. And please don't reply with W.I.R. cause we've seen that reply too often
