Blank bar at top of window?



  • When the Vivaldi window is maximized, the tops of the tabs are at the top edge of the screen. That's what I would expect.

    However, if the window is not maximized, Vivaldi has a horizontal area above the top of the tabs (in the header background colour). What is it for?



  • to let you grab the window and move/resize it, if anything

    Although, in fact, you can drag the window with any part of the header not covered by a tab, and resize is only possible on a smaller horizontal area.

    Or you can use ALT+(mouse drag) in many Linux distro's
