Greetings! from a new Vivaldi team member

Friends!
I wanted to hop on and introduce myself. My name is Kyle and like some of my compatriots at Vivaldi I live in a chilly land to the north called Norway. Yes the pickled [insert fish here] is wonderful, so don’t go believing otherwise. My interests include enjoying Norway’s abundant nature, cooking and eating ‘digg mat', and web-browser-community-outreach. Consequently I’m much better at one of those three than the others. Nonetheless here I am, excited to be collaborating with Vivaldi and the wonderful community its grown over the past few years.
To start I will be reaching out to active users and community members, in the hopes of imagining new forms of direct and indirect user engagement and community collaboration. Please visit the announcement post via the link below!
I look forward to getting to know the Vivaldi community in the months ahead.
Let’s get down on it,
Kyle the New Guy
Vivaldi Team

Welcome aboard Kyle!
-
@lcyle Welcome, Kyle! We'll have lots of fun!
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thank you! @andyraisbeck I think we'll be getting along just fine
@ayespy If we don't have a great time, what's the point?? Looking forward to it
-
@lcyle Welcome! If you don't mind telling us, what's your position in the team? It sounds like you are a community manager.
-
@lcyle Great to meet you! Welcome. Vivaldi grows!
-
@lcyle Congratulations on joining Vivaldi, Kyle and welcome!
-
Welcome lcyle.
-
Welcome Kyle! Can't wait to have more interaction here in the forums
What exactly will you be doing in the community?
-
Welcome
Quite fun - on small fonts I read Kyle, but the nick is Icyle XD

@luetage and @D0J0P I am glad you both asked! I am what you could call the sword in the darkness, the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men from generic browsing experiences. More succinctly put I am an intern, so not too far off from what I've just described.
@g_bartsch thank you and yes... Our little company is with child, so to speak, so Vivaldi and our wonderful community are indeed growing!
@xyzzy no congratulations necessary, I serve at the behest of my benevolent overlords.
@lamarca thanks for the welcome. I only hope they don't make a sassy chat bot anytime in the near future or I might need to go to coding bootcamp.
@Hadden89 you are welcome to use either name, though I can tell you lcyle is harder to pronounce. Maybe just The Dude? You decide.
-
@lcyle Love your theatrical explanation. We could always use more colorful people here
Not sure if you mean intern who will do something related to our community, but regardless I'm looking forward to seeing what you do!
And your name, "Icyle", is it pronounced "eye syle"?
-
hello lcyle
yo. all right. The Dude. When you mention busy with sassy, did You mean filling in for sassy or writing code for sassybot? Better opportunity to cram coding?
internship. Is that a educational institution terminology or a vivaldi terminology? permanence? Very nice to meet you, kyle. We hope that your lcyle can remain at vivaldi after your internship completes. Long livivaldi The Dude! The avatar reminds of harrypotter. are you a magician?

Welcome aboard, always nice to see new faces around here. I suspect we will be seeing often around here from now on
BTW what is 'digg mat'? Google has failed me, and food stuff always gets me curious.
-
@D0J0P lcyle like Kyle
@i_ri I am not a magician, I am a wizard. Please see this explainer. While I can't comment about permanence, I can say that "time does not exist" as we've come to know it. So... who knows?
@duarte-framos I look forward to the same!
-
hello lcyle The Dude vivaldi
Do You drive a Volvo?

No, it can't. Because the character "l" is in fact small "L", and not big "i". And Norwegian is not English.
