Video audio playing in slow speed
When I am watching a video on facebook the video audio is in slow speed but the video it self is ok..This only happens on Vivaldi browser..
@dhmh If you mask as another browser, those facebook videos run perfectly = facebook is feeding the wrong version to Vivaldi. Developers will see what can be done...

To make websites believe that vivaldi is an other browser - so it gets the right media data - the easiest way is to use an extension. They are called user agent switcher and you can get them in the normal chrome store:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/user agent switcher?hl=en-US
The work on faking the browser id for some site to get the correct video is in progress by our developer. Currently she is fixing some other strange Windows 7 video bugs too.
@zaibon i tried and it plays the same..not sure if i am suppose to add anything to the boxes?
@zaibon i figured it out..thx..by using the ext..

@dhmh I've been having this problem for the last 3 weeks or so. If I open the link on 3 other browsers they play fine. Each browser is using the same addon so that's not the problem. This is getting really annoying. Been having issues witht his browser lately. Worst problem is how much mem it's eating. It's using more than 2.5 times what firefox is using.
Each browser is using the same addon so that's not the problem.
False Facts. Other browsers do not use a plugin for video, they have a own payed implementation for video display.
Worst problem is how much mem it's eating. It's using more than 2.5 times what firefox is using.
But your low RAM size is not a video problem.

@Gwen-Dragon My low ram size? Where did I say I had low ram? I simply stated that your browser is being a piglet, and uses way more ram than other browsers, which is fact. I also included that all my browsers are all using the same addons as to give you more info as to the fact that it isn't one of the addons that I am using that is causing an issue with playback. Nice arrogance, and failed attempt to make someone look stupid. Just fix the issue, so that I and the other people here don't have to keep logging into another browser just to watch what someone sent us. It truly is a real inconvenience.
Worst problem is how much mem it's eating.
Yes, Chromium based browsers act different from Mozilla in using RAM, but this is a fact for many years, not new.
Not fixable by Vivaldi. You should report such bugs with consumption of RAM to Chromium bug tracker.

Did you tried the extension I mentioned above? The basic problem with this is that vivaldi is not recognised correctly by a few websites and in result gets send wrong media data - which you can bypass by cloaking vivaldi as another browser for those websites.
This of course doesn't solve your ram problem but as gwen said that is a bug you'll need to file at the chromium site
