Why does Vivaldi's taskbar icon flash when you open it ?
It's in fullscreen and selected, without any other programs being opened, so why does it flash as if it needs to be selected ?

@Deranox Good question every now and then I get this too. But I can't replicate it at will.
Happens from time to time on my win7 64bit || win 7 32bit || win 8.1 64bit machines - this started somewhere around last summer - but I always thought that one of my other programs stole the focus so I didn't paid any further attention to it.
@zaibon Yes, I thought so too, but then I tried without any programs and it still does that. That and some other weird stuff. It needs a lot of polish still.

Quite right too.
Trivial cosmetic bugs like this should be at the bottom of the heap. They're still worth reporting, but often they will be fixed accidentally when some other bug is fixed.

This is a Windows "problem" not vivaldi's.
Control Panel -> Ease of Access Center -> Use text or visual alternatives for sounds -> Change the "Choose visual warning" option to "None".
@iAN-CooG It's not a Windows problem. Chrome doesn't do that. Or any other browser for that matter. Just Vivaldi.
