Issue with First Direct Internet Banking
gwd440 last edited by Gwen-Dragon
I frequently (probably about 1 in 10) see the following when I try to access First Directs Internet Banking. When it does occur, not amount of refreshing or re-trying will work. I end up having to use Safari instead.

@gwd440 I'll guess that this is the homepage and not after logging in?
Note: I am on Linux Mint KDE (not a mac) and using snapshot 1.11.882.4 (64-bit) but still:-
This displays fine.
If I "view source" I see the same html as you up to the "Content here" line.
But after that I have the rest of the code and NOT the duplicated "script" line.
However, I am unsure what this might indicate?
You don't mention which version of Vivaldi or if you have any extensions installed.
Edit: You should probably try disabling any extensions as a first check.

Sorry, didn't provide much info there. (Rookie mistake!)
The problem is intermittent - I've been on today with no problems.
The Home page is fine, and the page after I click on 'Internet Banking' is fine too. The problem occurs when I've entered my User Id and clicked on 'Proceed', or sometimes after I've entered my security info.
Hah! It just did it to me again, while I was checking the screen process!
I have a lot more script displayed this time. I won't attach it (but I'll save it in case somebody really wants to look at it)
I'm on an Imac running 10.11.6.
The version of Vivaldi is 1.10.867.42 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
I have no Extensions installed.
This is not a huge problem for me. Just wondered if anyone else was having a similar experience, or whether someone involved with the Vivaldi development might be interested.

The devs don't have time to look at all these threads. You can file a bugreport, but test the site first with a clean install, to make sure the issue isn't caused by your setup.

@gwd440 Try with a profile reset
If there is still a problem, then report it.
But as it's a banking site - getting a test login may take a while.
