Sync is coming. Watch the progress live.

@luetage Why didn't I think of that?
-
@ayespy because you're not thinking 4th dimensionally!!
-
@ayespy: Well, I'm no developer, but can't we tap the locally synced information on Opera/Chrome, in a similar way to what is done when we are importing bookmarks from other browsers? Although buying Google and Opera would probably make it all much easier
-
@henascim If it's local, you can import it and your other Vivaldi versions will gain it thru sync. If it's online, you would need to know both the encryption key for the other services (which if you did, what would be the point of encryption?) and be privy to their database structure.

@voidzero Sync is available already so you can help to test it and improve it.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit • Snapshot 1.14.1064.3 (64-bit)

Has this been released?
I have version no 1.14.1077.60 (Stable channel) (64-bit) -
@hassanff9 It's at vivaldi://experiments. You have to turn it on. It's the same in 1.14 Stable and in 1.15 snapshot.
