How did you find out about Vivaldi.Net?
-
on itavisen.no
So what does this #some network offer, which isn't already "there" ? -
Well, according to the article that led me here it offers a level
of privacy not assured by other social media web sites. It openly admits that it's primarily aimed at geeks who don't like
snoopers, but welcomes anyone. -
My boyfriend mentioned it to me. I'm usually on top of things like this, but hadn't heard about it before at all.
-
I was an active user of Opera Forums (in Spanish language). On January 2, a user posted a link of this article: http://softlibre.barrapunto.com/article.pl?sid=14/01/01/2359255&from=rss
I discovered both Vivaldi and Otter Browser through barrapunto.com

from indonesian web news..that it's going to respect our privacyβ¦..I don't trust facebook and google anymore. Now everybody (though they are my actual friends just get into harsh discussion on social media just because they disagree with my opinion...even from the smallest thing..like I like o5ranges..and their just arguing,..ah...stupid.) And we are not even teenagers anymore....
-
I read about it on dailyrotation.com (the article was from theregister.co.uk).
Have been using Opera for years and thank you for starting vivaldi.net.
Hi from Australia.

hi from indonesia

I was invited by someone
β¦ but I could have read it here:

From an article on The Register.

I read about this on The Register.
I'm looking for a second home on the web; sometimes IRC can be a bit lacking in deep, continuous conversation
Thankfully I was able to snag my short name before it was snapped up
I'll be around, hopefully. -
β¦ but I could have read it here:
I actually DID read about it at Heise (German IT portal / magazine publisher) Never heard about it before. I had given up on social networks for a while. Never liked Facebook, had an account over at MySpace decades ago, before it died and was relaunched in a kind of sucky way. I tried Diaspora but wasn't too happy with it. Let's see what's cookin' here at Vivaldi
-
I did sign up for an opera account about two years ago but never actually used it.
I found out about Vivaldi.net when I was having a problem with a GMX eMail account and a Google search for GMX took me to a thread on the emaildiscussions.com forum where someone had recommended Vivaldi for add free eMail.
-
I found out about it from an article posted in one of the Google+ communities.
-
I actually found out about it from an article on tuxmachines.org, which mosty covers Linux stories but branches out into other areas as well. The old Presto based Opera was one of the best browsers available for Linux, and I used MyOpera as well, so when I saw that the guy behind the OLD Opera that I liked so much started a new community I had to jump onboard.
-
Learned about Vivaldi at My Operaβ¦been lurking around, decided what the heck. I didn't post much at My Opera, tried to help when I could, don't have a lot of time for social stuff, but who knows!

Back when Jon S. von Tetzchner left Opera, I created a google news alert for "Opera Tetzchner". By that I was informed about Vivaldi.net. I've got a MyOpera blog which is quite dead
-
Hi everyone! I wasn't a MyOpera user before but read about vivaldi.net in an article on heise IT news. After reading through an interview with Jon on the same site I made up my mind to give it a try. Looking forward to talk to you all later.

I read it in an article at The Register.com
Long, looooong time ago I had a MyOpera-account but really didn't do much with it.
And since Adobe quit updating FLASH for Linux, Opera became useless for the web-games I playedβ¦
That, and a weird issue I have with up/downloading stuff in Opera made me switch to Chrome.
