@gwen-dragon
Hi Gwen, thanks for the follow-up. The emails are coming in now but slowly, one every half hour - like a drip-drip.
-
@rhk The system doesn't want to overwhelm you, it's out of consideration for your well being.
-
@luetage You're a funny one

@gwen-dragon any idea when we will be back to normal?
thanks -

Dear Gwen-Dragon:
I am using vivaldi mail mostly via POP3. Every once in a while when vivaldi switches to a new certificate, I cannot send or receive email until I install figure out how to install it in my client.
This time that did not do the job. I could receive email via POP3 but not send it. After much experimentation, what worked was changing the smtp server from mail.vivaldi.net to smtp.vivaldi.net -- contrary to what is stated at the beginning of this topic. I also have it set to use the submission port 587. Now it works again.
It would be good if such changes were mailed to users in advance, and announced here and in the setup instructions at the start of this topic. -
@joss Hi,
The changes were announced in advance in another thread under a new category Webmail, where you could have found the settings you needed (new server name and port).

That's interesting - when I searched for the correct information I got this topic, not the new one, with the wrong information ... and it cost me a lot of time trying to figure it out myself.

Hi,
Once again there's no option to add or delete (not that I wanted to) identities in the old mail interface. Both the plus sign and the gear sign are missing from the identity tab.
And BTW there's still no identity tab in the new webmail interface after all these years.
