Quick Commands improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.10.856.16

@gwen-dragon: @gwen-dragon: I don't see it either, I guess it's just on Win10.
-
You should always, when talking about features, especially those not found in other browsers, include how to access them.
In this case Quick Commands: 'F2'
Sure, many here know it, but it will help those new to vivaldi and/ or unaware of the features.

Evernote Web clipper doesn't work since two snapshots. Very, very annoying.
-
@dleon: This is not exactly the same issue. For all my other extensions, including ublock, the window opens and closes correctly. This issue with Evernote Web Clipper of had already been present there are a few versions (and also the OneNote clipper).
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/15996/onenote-web-clipper-no-longer-working-in-1-9
The issue had been quickly fixed for the two clippers and it came back from two versions for Evernote, but not for OneNote (I use both) -
@dleon: Yes again, but OneNote works since this first issue, but now (in fact from two snapshots) only Evernote fails.
-
@mdnjou: like the old opera you can sort the tabs is...and drag and drop just using the side panel. It all collection of tabs of you using it now.
-
@mdnjou: I mean it is like tree structure off course. for pictures take a bookmarks sidepanel such example. but with the tabs and groups, or the windows. I miss it when you having so much tabs to handle it. Yes I know about F2. But this for user using the mouse to click, drag and drop events k.

does not install on ubuntu 12.04
-
- Add ability to customize the minor version in the User Agent string (VB-28565)
exacly where?
-
Can you PLEASE fix the issue with iframes? When you're on a page with an iframe and click on a link inside the iframe, the status of that frame is not reflected on the browser. I have no idea if the iframe is loading or not because the browser doesn't tell me anything is happening. It's driving me crazy! I am a web administrator, and I use a lot of control panels with iframes.
Otherwise, what a great update!

Serious bug found updating using the full installer (win 32 bit): HKCU\Software registry keys gets deleted
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/17207/serious-bug-to-confirm-installer-damages-registry-only-me -
@dleon: Anyone brave enough to use Linux seriously would be able to fix any bugs they find on their own.

Hmm, when I try to bookmark pages from the address bar icon, the page does not show up in the selected bookmark folder. The icon indicates that the page has been bookmarked, though.
If I drag and drop the URL to the bookmark folder, it works.Win7x64 Vx32
EDIT:
There seems to be some kind of delay or refresh issue here, because if I go into the folder later, the bookmark is there (I have two, the one I dragged and the one I created from the address bar icon ... I guess) -
@dLeon Isn't it because Bookmarks page remembers last scroll position? If I open some bookmark from end of a longer list, after Vivaldi relaunch it still remembers and the last opened bookmark is focused.
In Bookmarks Panel the position is not permanent for me. It survive open/reopen panel but not Vivaldi relaunch. -
@dleon: yes, I see. required nspr version can be installed from a deb-package, but pango is a big issue. the humour is that my distro has libpango1.0 v.30 while vivaldi wants libpango-1.0 (feel the difference!)
I have some reasons to keep my 12.04 but not so many as growing problems with it. -

If I understood correctly what you mean, I reproduced here, it works perfectly!

@JuniorSilva30 Maybe we have bad interpreted ourselves.
So just to be sure:
@pierod said in Quick Commands improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.10.856.16:
There is a small bug on vivaldi://bookmarks/ When I open it, the first lines of the bookmarks are always covered.
This can be caused by the feature that Bookmarks page can remember the scroll position of last visited Bookmarks. (as I mentioned in my previous post).
Maybe he is asking about to make an option to disable this feature?
(Bookmarks panel has this feature only partially -- after relaunch it's lost) -
@dLeon said in Quick Commands improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.10.856.16:
Which even confuse me.
Me too. But I think, @Yuyu-K is just guessing. Just like we.
So reaction of @pierod (who is originally mentioning the Page, not Panel) would be highly appreciated. -
Vivaldi-Window freezes after special url
Entering the url "vivaldi://settings/passwords" leads back to the "Schnellwahl" and starting from that moment this windwos will not allow opening or closing of further tabs.
Opening another windwo is still possible and this new window works fine (I am just using it to write this message).
