Why doesn't Chrome Data Saver work in Vivaldi?

I tried to visit a website with HTTP protocol to see if this extension worked or not, but it seemed it didn't work because data saving percentage was 0.0%.
Why didn't it work in Vivaldi?

Unless it's just a placebo, the Data Saver extension seems to be working just fine for me. I've been using it off and on for a couple of weeks.
But isn't Data Saver is already build in (although still developer test mode) Chromium Desktop/Mobile, also effect current Vivaldi stable & snapshot. Check vivaldi://flags & search for Data Saver or any related, I did find them.
I had a look and I found two flags that seem like they might be related:
#data-reduction-proxy-lo-fi
Forces Data Saver Lo-Fi mode to be always enabled, enabled only on cellular connections, or disabled. Data Saver must be enabled for Lo-Fi mode to be used.
#enable-data-reduction-proxy-lite-page
Enable lite pages in Data Saver Lo-Fi mode. Previews of pages will be shown instead of image placeholders when Lo-Fi is on. Data Saver and Lo-Fi must be enabled for lite pages to be shown.

I couldn't find those flags in mine although Data Saver is installed.

@dLeon That's the reason I use Opera Browser, but I'm searching for the replacement of Opera Turbo to run in Vivaldi.
-
@taufik.mukti That seems strange. Are you using the stable release or the snapshot release of Vivaldi? It might not work properly on the stable, I am using the snapshot.
@dLeon It's been a couple of years since I last used Opera for a period of time long enough to get a good idea of how well Turbo works, but I can say that Data Saver isn't as fast as I remember Turbo being. It would be really nice to have a data compression feature built-in to Vivaldi; I'm pretty sure I remember reading something about that being planned for the future. But I wouldn't imagine it would arrive before syncing, as Vivaldi still doesn't have the resources for those kinds of features.

@dLeon It works perfectly in Firefox via add-on. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/google_datasaver_for_firefox/)
-
@Tiamarth Stable release. Are you in snapshot release channel?
In stable version, there is NO options about data savings.
-
@Gwen-Dragon It could work in Firefox via addon. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/google_datasaver_for_firefox/)

@taufik.mukti Yes, I'm using the latest snapshot. But Data Saver seemed to be working for me on previous snapshots as well.
@mdwelsh How can I confirm whether it is or isn't working for me, then? The "Data Savings" field in Data Saver isn't at 0 and things tend to load more slowly for me (as expected) when I have the extension enabled vs when I have it disabled.

is it working or not? since I can install it but... always 0
