Tab and Speed Dial Requests
-
Hi,
first of all thank you very much for Vivaldi. Such a nice Browser
Well I miss some features / settings, maybe its possible to add them in the future:
- Tabs "Close Button always show"
- Speed Dial "own Pictures"
- Speed Dial "no mouseover resize effect"
- Speed Dial "more / free choice of rows"
- When you set the "Tab Bar to the Left" it is not possible to remove the Titelbar with the Vivaldi Logo / Menu. Maybe its possible to drag the Vivaldi Menue Icon to the Navigation bar in the future?!
Thank you very much.
Regards from germany,
Tobi.

@tkcolbeg Please search the Feature Requests thread. Add one post for each new request.
Own pictures for speed dial is already there, free choice of columns is already available = free choice of rows. It's not possible to hide the title bar if the tabs are on the left.
Customise toolbars is already there.

Hi,
I forgot some Informations:
- I mean the "Screenshot" of the Speed Dial posts / bookmarks... not the Background of the Speed Dial Page.
For example: I want a own Screenshot for the Twitch Bookmark on the Speed Dial Page. - I can only set 6 columns. I reversed columns and rows maybe. Esp on 21:9 screens its not enough, for my opinion.
- "not possible to hide the title bar" ... ah ok I didnt know that. Thanks.
Regards,
Tobi

@tkcolbeg βAlready there,β means the request for custom speed dial images is already in the Feature Requests thread.
The maximum number of columns can be set to unlimited = None (no maximum). The limiting factor is only your monitor's size and the UI Zoom scale factor. Reduce the UI zoom to fit more columns on a standard 1920 x 1080 monitor, for example.

You can wait for Vivaldi to implement this, or you take a look at this forum board:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/52/modifications
All of your issues can easily be addressed immediately (and for most of them there is already existing code), if you are willing to put a little work into it. -
