@YamiryuuZero Thank you for the perfect explanation kind person
-
@Steffie You better wait sitting. Windows 10S is just the counter-attack on Chromebooks, even MS was not expecting people liked so much.

@Dovelove My understanding is that other browsers are not explicitly forbidden on Windows 10s but (as it currently stands) only Edge can be the default browser.
Edit: Confirmed in the Win 10s FAQ... and that third-party browser must be installed from the Windows Store.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4020089/windows-10-s-faqFYI: I usually don"t put up BS...not accusing you of accusing me of that. If I'm not sure of source I don't post. I think MS is shooting themselves I surmised this and people called me an old fogy. More worse to come because people don't value their privacy! They prefer a social media ad store and egos.

I'm having issues with Udemy videos. Occasionally a video will refuse to appear in 720p quality even though it's selected. In Chrome it works fine. Anyone can confirm?
Vivaldi 64bit/ WIn 10
-
@zorro: Can confirm this issue (VB-28542) on MacOS. Maddening.
-
the badge info on the Vivaldi over the top... and please make it when you on Vivaldi page stated "Your are viewing Vivaldi secured page" k.

I noticed Jon joined in on privacy. You can be identified by fingerprint, facial ,voice, gait in walking etc. and you gladly gave them the tools to do it because you were to lazy to push a button ...gee I don't understand.

Can you make more choices for those who have a slow internet connection? How to remove images from: vivaldi: // bookmarks /
The bookmark image is generated from the tab and saved locally so there's no internet connection involved. Only if you click the button to regenerate a new thumb then it will really re-download the page.
As well as making the browser something not so heavy and with so many effects and animations that do not make the actual functionalities. Remember Opera 12 please!
This is hard because the team is small so they don't mess much with the Chromium part. Opera 12 was built with performance in mind, Chrome not. Chrome is a ripoff from Safari, which in turn is also terrible on performance, which is a ripoff from KHTML which was not that awesome when Apple forked it. Chrome is good with JavaScript though, but JS is just one layer of a browser.
Anyway the team works on them. Recently in internal builds the devs made Quick Commands great again, new features and improved performance.

Hey... Dems' fightin' words! You can talk crap about Chrome all you want and I'll agree with you 100%. Safari is lightweight by comparison... and definitely doesn't "stink" as much now as it used to!

Dems' words to salivate over! Do you mean the massive lag when entering text in F2 has been fixed? I'd so like to be able to type in the field to search rather than type text elsewhere and paste it into the search field. Now me eager for me eager for next snapshot.
-
@xyzzy Now it's better, true, but when Blink was forked it was bad. And it's still only better than Chrome. Which is not that much.
-
@An_dz Chrome was based on the original WebKit code. Safari has moved on to WebKit2. With the blink fork, Chrome and Safari are effectively free from one another, and both have since been able to improve considerably in their own ways as a result.

This is all well and good, but I have a few problems that I hope you hear me out on.
First off, no matter how many times I try to download Adobe Flash-both in the WWE Network Account I have and on Facebook it says that the player is out of date. Youtube is fine, which is why I haven't uninstalled the browser yet (Spotify is...iffy at best)
Two, I can't access the website for my Financial Institution on this browser (Chessie Federal Credit Union), it goes through a constant log in cycle that keeps pushing me out of the site when I go to access my bank account.
Three, I'm still kind of p/o'd that the Mail Client is still not implemented into Vivaldi, as it was promised back when I first joined during the Beta. I get that the Web Based email system is great-but I was expecting something closer to Opera-where there was a program I could access both in and out of browser w/o having to redirect to that page. This is more of an observation if anything, but it goes back on what this website promised earlier/
I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, as I've been with this browser since the beginning-and it's not the first time I've brought the web client email up. I'd just like to see more bug fixes and potentially adding in all the features as promised in the beta.
That's all, thank you guys for hearing me out

WWE and Facebook USE whichever Flash plug-in you have installed - you don't download Flash plugin from them. Also, You tube doesn't use Flash any more.
As you don't say what your version is - get the download directly from Adobe:
see https://help.vivaldi.com/article/install-flash-player-for-vivaldi/Two, I can't access the website for my Financial Institution on this browser (Chessie Federal Credit Union), it goes through a constant log in cycle that keeps pushing me out of the site when I go to access my bank account.
Can't check this without a login, but I would suspect that they don't recognise Vivaldi. Try installing a "user agent switcher" from the Chrome Extension Store (via Tools/Extensions "Get more extensions" )
and then set it so that you identify as Firefox or Chrome.Three, I'm still kind of p/o'd that the Mail Client is still not implemented into Vivaldi, as it was promised back when I first joined during the Beta. The mail client is still being worked on. We will see it "when it's ready" (working well enough so that no data is lost).

It is not working as it should be, it opens on the same tab. -

Confirmed on me.Even with option "Always search in new tab" ticked, it will always search in current tab.
Need specifically to use Ctrl+Enter to achieve the wanted behavior. Thanks for confirming! I was thinking it was just a problem here.

Two problems right off today:
- No "About" in settings, so I had to look up the file to find the version
- Page doesn't scale to open window at http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/volvik-championship/leaderboard
