New Version will not let Advanced link be clicked on none certified https sites

  • Since upgrading to version 1.9.818.44 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
    Revision bbec133a3745a0d97b9bd4da75e07ddb18f71ff7
On our servers that are https with none valid security certificates (internal servers not in the internet) when the privacy error pops up generally you go to advanced to ignore the error and proceed. The link is not clickable anymore.
Tested same server in Chrome and it works fine.

Is already fixed on Snapshot as i could see in internal bugtracker.
I am hopefull that may be fixed in next Stable 1.9 patch.

  • As @Gwen-Dragon wrote, hopefully the fix will soon be released for the stable channel.

In the meantime, you can use keyboard navigation (tab, space and/or return; if I remember correctly) as a workaround to get to and click on the Proceed to... link.

  • Can confirm using tab works for me.

  • I didn't realize you could tab to it and it'd work. That's a great work around.

The latest public Snapshot still has the issue.
