Where has "Hibernate Background Tabs" gone?
-
Just upgraded and unable to find my favourite feature. What has happened?
-
@mbert - I still have it on Windows. Missing for you on OSX? Any other Mac users care to comment?

It looks like I've found something. The functionality is still there. But the UI hides it in some cases. Try this:
- Click "Hibernate Background Tabs" - the entry is no longer shown in the context menu
- Quit Vivaldi
- Start Vivaldi
- Click the context menu again - no entry shown for "Hibernate Background Tabs"; looks like Vivaldi still considers them "hibernated"
This is confusing. Maybe it would be better to not hide that entry but rather grey it out?
Another thing: the hibernated tabs used to be displayed in grey-shades only (no colors). This has changed, so that hibernated tabs can no longer be recognised, hence making the above effect more confusing.

@mbert: I can't test this on Mac, but I do know that hibernated tabs are now supposed to be shown "dimmed" rather than grayscale.

Here's screenshots:
Before Hibernate:
Immediately after Hibernate (for about a second):
After about one second it looks like in the first image again

Having the same thing. Not sure if that's intentional. It's certainly weird if it is.
