Vivaldi makes History
-
@pafflick: The "annoying and fairly useless" feature as you call is used by FF, Edge, Chrome, Opera and other modern browsers. And by the way a modal window is not a solution if you need to move an small popup window while reading the window that called the popup. For instance if the popup contains a map referred in another window's text
I'm not a Vivaldi's user nor a fan, so please don't be so pretentious and despective when disinterestedly some one ask for a feature.
Cheers. -

Greetings Jon von Tetzcher! I love Vivaldi and WAS a huge Opera fan from yesteryear. Glad you started Vivaldi to continue your excellent Browser legacy!
-
I love the new History layout and behavior!

@jon: My jaw dropped right now! Jon von Tetzchner, the founder of the true Opera is answering personally on the blog! YES!
Can't support the CCC direction Opera is taking now! CCC= Chrome, Crap, Chinese! -

@Austin_Radcliffe: No idea where the Kingsoft crew get/got their ideas. I know The Vivaldi developers organically came up with their own.

@garussell The Snapshot stream (which is at 1.9) is not promoted for universal use. It's more of a "beta" for people with a bit more technical skill and tolerance for risk. It's notified, up to date always, on the blog. Stable version download page is only updated with Stable is updated, about every 6 weeks or so.

@garussell Vivaldi does not prohibit the use of password managers. It allows the use of every compatible extension. Unfortunately, as there are millions of extensions, it cannot ensure it is compatible with every one. That has to be seen to by the authors of the extensions.
